This course isn’t just about teaching Downward Dog. Its an opportunity to discover who you really are. How you physically, mentally and emotionally deal with each moment presented to you by revealing what lies beneath the surface.

Breaking down the postures anatomically and physiologically teaches us about our fantastic vessel that allows us to participate in this life. We learn what our bodies are telling us and how to realign our imbalances.The body also stores emotions and past experiences which become more apparent as we learn to find stillness. This is the case for the mind as well. Through Meditation, Mantras and breathing techniques we learn to slow down our thoughts and see our patterns or our stories and not only uncover their source but start to understand how they are limiting our growth. Becoming more comfortable in our ourselves also involves learning how to speak our truth. Communicating through teaching can be an amazing way to get comfortable expressing yourself. Through words and hands on assists we can learn how to share our perspective. So yes, you will learn how to teach the best aligned Downward Dog ever while you learn how to be the best YOU ever. Not only will you find your Teacher, your Witness within, you will find acceptance & peace

Whistler Yoga 200 Hour teacher training is Yoga Alliance certified.

$2595 + tax 30% deposit at registration / prior to intensive
35% due prior to the start of each module

Sample Daily Schedule:
TUES 1:10pm – 4:10pm
WED 6:00am – 8:30am, 1:45pm – 4:15pm
THUR 6:00am – 8:30am, 1:00pm – 4:10pm
FRI 8:30am – 11:30am, 1:45pm – 4:00pm
SAT 6:30am – 9:30am, 1:45pm – 4:00pm
Plus must attend 3 additional classes per week: 1 restorative, 1 hatha and 1 flow style.
  • Mornings will include Meditation, Pranayama & a set Vinyasa (flow) sequence which will be adapted to become ones personal practice.
  • The afternoons will introduce the Fundamentals of Anatomy such as the muscles & bones, joint function, body types and injuries. As well as a break down of the poses covered in the sequence including variations and modifications.
  • History and Philosophy will be introduced with the primary focus begin the Yoga Sutras, the historical guide to enlightenment. Using the sutras we will assist each other as we learn more about our conscious and sub conscious self.
